On our 2nd day in Moscow, we were slated to tour the popular landmarks and tourist attractions here as listed in our itinerary.
Before arriving at the Bolshoi Theatre, we stopped at the Moscow Circus on Tsvetnoy Blvd to capture some photos, notably of the bronze statue and car.
Bolshoi Theatre
Due to the fixed program arranged, we were unable to attend the show at Bolshoi Theatre but managed to stop here for a photoshoot.
State Historical Museum
The Museum is wedged between the Red Square and Manege Square and GUM Shopping Mall. It is also a short walk to the famous landmark in Moscow which is the St Basil Cathedral.
To access the display area in the museum no backpacks/handbags are permitted. We had to drop them in lockers provided. The entrance fee is RUB1,100 (included in the package).

GUM Shopping Mall
Following visiting the Museum we were allocated some time to browse and shop at the GUM Shopping Mall. The mall is huge and during our visit there it was beautifully decorated for the coming Christmas Day.
Moscow Cathedral Mosque
During our stay in Moscow, we frequented the Moscow Cathedral Mosque to pray and for lunch at the cafe. The food here is quite delicious and there's always a crowd after each prayer.
Exhibition of Achievements of National Economy (VDNKh/VDNH)
Before the day ended and on the way back to the hotel, we stopped at VDNKh. Since it's dark and cold, we just stopped for some photoshoot.
